An Apostolic VBS

I’m very excited about this. I love all things VBS: writing VBS, decorating for VBS, having VBS… all the VBS things! 

I wrote Survivor Island several years ago and successfully used it in my church, so now I want to share it!

This VBS has an ongoing storyline acted out in skits to help keep the children engaged and eager to learn from God’s Word. Our story unfolds over a period of 5 days (although it can be adjusted to a shorter time frame). Each night, the opening skit introduces an issue that the skit characters struggle with. Throughout the program each day (during the lesson portion), the kids will learn the solutions, and in the closing skits of each day, the skit characters encourage the kids to help them solve the problem through what they’ve learned in their Bible lessons.

Geared toward kids 4-11 years old.
